Chatayee Thai just proves again that dining out is so much fun experience. Never fails to delight each time dining out! We ordered Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai Noodles and Jasmine Fried Rice. Mango sticky rice was out of the world. Keep coming just for this dessert. Birthday celebration here adds cherry on the top. There's something about the cultural essence that brings Thailand right here. Definitely recommend when visiting Philly downtown for relaxing dining experience!

Excellent Thai restaurant with dishes that are both delicious and authentically Thai. The menu is extensive and features both favorites as well as special items that are not found at other restaurants. The Khao Soi in particular was fantastic, reminding me of past trips to Northern Thailand. Also enjoyed the inventive and well-mixed drinks which really complimented the meal. Great service and experience, will 100% make it back here whenever possible. Thanks so much!

Came in without any reservation on a Saturday night while my body is sore from BJJ as I wanted to treat my family for a nice and authentic Thai Food. The manager was kind enough to provide us a table which is wheelchair-friendly. Yoshi took care of us with a smile and also the other kiddo (didn’t get your name) who was always looking at us making sure our needs were properly met. Price range, the service, atmosphere is something you appreciate while you are in Philly.

My Buddy and I visited Chatayee during early Happy Hour on a Friday. While I did make reservations it was actually empty at 4:30ish. We had spring rolls, which were good. We had the happy hour cocktail which had strawberries, it was very good. Unfortunately I did not like the crab pad Thai that my friend ordered for us as a main meal. It had a strange taste. Our server was pleasant as well as the Thai themed decor throughout the space.

We made a dinner reservation for an early Saturday dinner. It seemed silly when we got there but as soon as we ordered the whole place filled up. We got seated by the window, and it was a very entertaining section. The ubereats bot kept passing by and the pedestrians could never leave him alone. Anyways, our server was super sweet and was very good at timing our meals appropriately even ordering it all at once. It was busy around us but we could still hold our conversation with no problem. We loved the papaya salad and my beef pad Thai was some of the best I’ve had. I like they had mocktails and cocktails because I wanted something fancy but wasn’t in the mood to drink. I’d say it’s a very cute date spot to end the night.
